THE HISTORY

WillRock4Food began in 2001 in Faurot Park with a concert in the rain with a mere 45 attendees. Nine years later, we have ministered to over 20,000 people and have expanded our outreach from Lima, OH to include hosting an annual “Faith and Family Night” with the Columbus Crew. At this event in 2009, we started fighting hunger worldwide by raising money to purchase land and build an orphanage in Matisi, Kenya.

From the first event in the park with The Goodbye Session, to the jam-packed Skillet or Family Force 5 concerts, our mission has stayed the same—”Rock Faces to Feed Places.”

We have been able to give over $15,000 to charity, while seeing hundreds of teens and adults make the decision to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ

THE PURPOSE

Will Rock 4 Food is on a mission: to create an awareness of the hungry through concerts and other events. Our world is full of people struggling to make ends meet. We use the events to raise money as well as accept food donations for local charities. Once we are granted 501c3 status, we will seek to sponsor children right here in our back yard, as well as assist in the building of an orphanage on five acres in Matisi, Kenya.

Not only do we see those who are physically hungry, but we recognize that God has given us gifts to minister to the spiritually hungry as well. Our main purpose is to feed the lost with the gift of Hope… a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

WHERE WE ARE GOING

Once again, we’re expanding the ministry of WillRock4Food. Not only will we host our own events, but we would love to have the opportunity to assist your organization with an event of your own. We’ll help you create a highly-promoted concert that is more than just a concert, but an event that can impact people for a lifetime.
